The Aran Islands, Ireland

Off the coast of County Galway are three islands that make up the Aran Islands: Inis Mór (Inishmore), Inis Meáin (Inishmaan), and Inis Oírr (Inisheer). Initially used for farmland and fishing, these islands are now well-known around the country for wool sweatersfudge and fried fish, all of which will greet you in seaside shops upon your arrival.
