HOKA NAZ Elite runner Alice Wright set the British record for the one hour run on the track in Phoenix, Ariz. The previous record, 16,495 meters, was set on April 2, 2000 by Michaela McCallum. This record measures the farthest distance a runner can go on a track within one hour. Wright completed 17,044 meters, which is about 68 laps at an approximate pace of 5:38/mile. The event was hosted by Brophy College Prep and sponsored by Hoka One One and Coros.
